For Telegram
Telegram supports webp files as stickers natively, so you can send them directly in chats, and they’ll register as stickers. However, for a more organized and convenient experience, we also recommend creating a sticker pack. Here are both options:
Option 1: Sending Individual Stickers
- Download and Extract the Zip File:
- After your purchase, download the zip file from Gumroad.
- Unzip the file on your device to access the individual webp sticker files.
- Send Stickers in a Chat:
- Open Telegram on your mobile device or desktop.
- Go to the chat where you’d like to use a sticker.
- Tap the sticker icon in the chat input field (it looks like a little smiley face or sticker).
- Select “Add Stickers.”
- Choose “Upload Sticker” and browse your device to select a webp file.
- Once uploaded, the sticker will appear in the chat, ready to send.
Note: This method is great for quick use but requires uploading each sticker individually every time you want to send a new one.
Option 2: Creating a Sticker Pack (Recommended)
For a smoother experience, create a sticker pack to access all your stickers at once:
- Download and Extract the Zip File:
- Download the zip file from Gumroad.
- Extract it to access the individual webp sticker files.
- Create a Sticker Pack with the@Stickers Bot:
- Open Telegram and use the search bar to find the “@Stickers” bot.
- Start a chat with the bot by tapping “Start” or sending a message.
- Type /newpack and press send to begin creating a new sticker pack.
- Follow the bot’s prompts:
- Enter a name for your sticker pack (e.g., “My Awesome Memes”).
- Upload each webp file one by one when asked. (Tap the paperclip icon, select “File,” and choose a webp sticker.)
- Assign an emoji to each sticker (e.g., for a funny one, for a cute one). This helps categorize them.
- Once you’ve uploaded all the stickers you want, type /publish and send it.
- The bot will ask for a short name for your pack’s URL, then provide a link (e.g., t.me/addstickers/MyAwesomeMemes).
- Click the link to add the sticker pack to your Telegram.
- Using Your Sticker Pack:
- In any chat, tap the sticker icon.
- Select your newly created pack from the list.
- Tap the sticker you want to send, and it’ll appear in the chat.
Why Choose This Option? Creating a pack keeps all your stickers in one place, making them easy to use whenever you want without repeated uploads.
For WhatsApp
WhatsApp doesn’t support sending webp files directly as stickers like Telegram does. Instead, you’ll need to use WhatsApp’s inbuilt sticker maker to add them to your collection. Here’s how to do it, along with an optional third-party app suggestion for a more efficient process.
Using WhatsApp’s Inbuilt Sticker Maker
- Download and Extract the Zip File:
- Download the zip file from Gumroad.
- Unzip it on your device to access the individual webp sticker files.
- Add Stickers to WhatsApp:
- Open WhatsApp on your mobile device.
- Go to any chat.
- Tap the sticker icon (usually a smiley face or folded square next to the text input field).
- Look for the “Create” or “Add” option (often a plus sign or “My Stickers” tab).
- Select “Create Sticker” or a similar option.
- Browse your device and choose a webp file from the extracted folder.
- WhatsApp will automatically process the webp file into a sticker format.
- Optionally, you can edit the sticker (e.g., crop or add text), then tap “Save” to add it to your collection.
- Repeat for Each Sticker:
- WhatsApp doesn’t allow adding multiple stickers at once this way, so repeat the process for each webp file you want to use.
- Using Your Stickers:
- In any chat, tap the sticker icon.
- Scroll through your sticker collection (under “My Stickers” or the default tab).
- Tap the sticker you want to send.
Note: Ensure WhatsApp is updated to the latest version to avoid compatibility issues. The inbuilt sticker maker should handle webp files smoothly since they’re already in the correct format.
Alternative: Using a Third-Party App (Optional)
For a faster way to add multiple stickers and create a pack:
- Download a Sticker App:
- Install an app like “Sticker Maker” (available for free on Android and iOS).
- Create a Sticker Pack:
- Open the app and select “Create a New Sticker Pack.”
- Give your pack a name (e.g., “Meme Stickers”).
- Tap “Add Sticker” and select the webp files from your extracted folder.
- Add as many stickers as you’d like (up to 30 per pack in most apps).
- Once finished, tap “Publish” or “Add to WhatsApp.”
- Using the Pack in WhatsApp:
- Open WhatsApp, tap the sticker icon, and find your new pack under the “My Stickers” tab.
- Select and send your stickers as needed.
Why Use This? Third-party apps let you organize your stickers into packs, saving time compared to adding them one by one.
